FTS LOBO Organization Inc. was born out of love, necessity, and the unwavering belief that everyone deserves a space to be seen, heard, and valued. What started as a small circle of voices in Lobo has grown into a powerful force for advocacy, creativity, and community.

This is the story of how FTS LOBO began, not just as an organization, but as a home for pride, equality, and fearless expression.

Born from
Advocay and Love (2015)

FTS LOBO Organization Inc. was established in 2015 to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space for the LGBTQ++ community in Lobo, Batangas. Built on the values of equality, love, and compassion, it became a place where voices could rise, and stories could be seen.

initiated by a
fearless ally

The organization began through the support and initiative of former Lobo Municipal Mayor, Hon. Lota Lazarte Manalo, a public servant who stood with the LGBTQIA+ community when others stay silent. Her belief in equality sparked the beginning of a lasting movement.

a name that speaks
identity

The name "Flock of the Third Sex" was coined by Gilbert Macalalad reflecting a sense of unity, pride and belonging. "Flock" symbolized togetherness, a family that embraces every color, every story and every truth.

FTS LOBO Organization Inc. has grown into one of Lobo's most dynamic and creative organizations, leading efforts in HIV awareness, youth leadership, mental health and LGBTQ+ empowerment. What began as a dream is now a bold, living movement.

We stay because there are still hearts searching for belonging. We stay because our presence is proof that love can lead, and that dignity has no condition. Even when the world grows tired, we continue, not for recognition, but because service is part of who we are. With every step forward, we carry the stories of those who walked before us, and open doors for those who come next.
