In the spirit of bayanihan and community care, members of FTS Lobo Organization Inc. (LGBTQIA+ and Allies) took part in the relief initiative led by Batangas 2nd District Board Member Dra. Reina Abu-Reyes and Former Congressman Raneo Abu.
Together, they helped prepare and distribute food packs for the evacuees of Lobo, Batangas, who were affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Uwan. The collaborative effort aimed to provide immediate assistance and comfort to families temporarily staying in evacuation centers.
FTS Lobo expressed its gratitude for the opportunity to serve the community alongside public servants who continuously show compassion and leadership, especially in times of crisis.
“Tulungan at malasakit ang tunay na diwa ng ating organisasyon. Sa bawat bagyo, patuloy tayong magiging sandigan ng isa’t isa,” the group shared.
The organization also extended appreciation to all volunteers, rescuers, and LGU units who worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and welfare of Lobo residents during the typhoon.
