FORMER PRESIDENT
PRONOUNS:
SHE / HER

WHO I AM:
Hello! I am Mariah Juliana Pascua Lucero or Julia for short, a proud transgender woman born and raised in the heart of Poblacion, Lobo, Batangas. I am a passionate makeup artist and hairstylist, using my craft not only to enhance beauty but to empower others especially members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I’ve always had a deep love for music and performing, and singing is one of the ways I express my emotions and identity. My favorite color is pink, because it reflects softness, strength, and self love.
I carry my identity with pride and continue to break barriers through creativity, leadership, and authenticity.
MY ADVOCACY:
I advocate strongly for gender equality and transgender visibility. I believe that no matter your SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression), everyone deserves equal respect, opportunity, and representation.
For me, gender equality is not just a cause but it’s a way of life. I strive to inspire others to embrace who they truly are and help build a world where no one has to apologize for being themselves.
WHY I SERVE:
I serve because I want to be a voice for those who are often unheard especially trans women and LGBTQ+ youth in rural communities.
Being part of FTS Lobo taught me the value of service rooted in compassion and courage. My leadership is fueled by the dream of a society where everyone, regardless of identity, is treated fairly, supported, and celebrated.
Serving this organization is both my commitment and my calling.
