Serving More Than Medicine: FTS Lobo’s Heartfelt Mission of Care

Thanks to the kind initiative of Former Congressman Raneo Abu and Dra. Reina Abu Reyes, FTS Lobo Organization Inc., dedicated to love, acceptance, and uplifting the marginalized, had the honor of volunteering in a medical mission that brought essential healthcare to our neighbors.

Our role was simple yet powerful, serving warm "lugaw" (rice porridge) to everyone who came. But as we handed out each bowl, it became clear this was much more than just food. It was a symbol of care, of humanity, and of solidarity. It was our way of saying, “You are seen. You are valued. You are loved.”

As an LGBT organization, our mission goes beyond advocacy; it is about embodying kindness and compassion in every act, creating safe spaces and extending support to all, no matter their story or background. Serving alongside healthcare workers, we witnessed the strength of community, people coming together, breaking barriers, and sharing hope.

FTS Lobo stood not only as volunteers but as a family, reaching out with open hearts to nurture the well-being of others. It reminded us that true change comes from moments like these: simple acts of love that heal, connect, and empower.

We are humbled and inspired to continue this journey, to serve, to uplift, and to build a world where everyone belongs.
