A Day of Heartfelt Service in Biga by FTS Lobo Organization

It was a bright and meaningful morning when our team from FTS Lobo Organization arrived at Biga Elementary School in Barangay Biga, Lobo, Batangas. With pots, utensils, scissors, and big hearts, we came with one mission: To serve the community through our Feeding Program and Alay Gupit.

As soon as we arrived, the school came alive with movement and excitement. While our volunteer hairdressers began giving free haircuts, our kitchen team was hard at work in the school canteen, cooking warm, hearty meals for everyone.

By the end of the day, we had given free haircuts to over 200 individuals, students, parents, and even some teachers and served meals to more than 300 people. The canteen filled with the aroma of freshly cooked food, and the joy on everyone’s faces made every effort worth it.

Each haircut brought smiles and renewed confidence to the kids. Some were quiet at first, but after seeing their friends’ fresh cuts, they quickly lined up, excited for their turn. Meanwhile, the feeding area was filled with laughter, “thank you’s,” and grateful hearts.

This day reminded us that kindness doesn’t have to be grand. It just has to be real. We didn’t just give food and haircuts. We shared love, dignity, and a sense of community.
